We'll have to wait and see how successful it is. Much of the collaboration appears to be around software that ties into IBM's WebSphere software which, so far, has garnered a huge yawn from the corporate market. For example, did you know that Pocket PCs have had a WebSphere client available since April? Didn't think so.<br /><br />The deal is not exclusive though. "IBM can renegotiate its WebSphere relationship with Microsoft, or Palm can still work with AOL Time Warner Inc., for instance, to give its handheld users access to AOL's widely used instant-messaging program."
