The pre-order units do not include all drivers, but if the user requires one of the new drivers, FrogPad will supply then via a special download code after 1st October. The product will include drivers for Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone, Palm OS, Symbian and will work with HID compliant computers, including Mac OS. The company says they have plans to provide other Bluetooth drivers for Java and unified messaging devices in the future."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20090920-FrogPad.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Talk about the FrogPad goes back over a <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24159">year,</a> with more official announcements in <a href="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17285">February of this year.</a> So it's nice to see that this alternate method will finally see the light of day. T9 and me just don't get along, so I'm always interested in new alternative methods. I'm not sure that the physical shape or keyboard layout will make input any easier. However I'm very interested in seeing reviews on how this preforms under real world usage.

This one looks really interesting, but I doubt it will do well. The idea is to be able to type with one hand, but won't people just rather buy a bluetooth folding keyboard (for much less money) and type with two hands without needing to learn a whole new, unintuitive keyboard layout?

If the problem is that folding keyboards can't sit in someone's lap, then just make locks on them so that they are flat and straight in someone's lap and have a holder for the phone. If the problem is that millions of people out there don't have two hands, then maybe this product will do better than I expect . . .
