Nice and all, but virtually all DRMs can be removed using widely available software. This means all DRM'ed music can be un-DRM'ed and used however your wish in iPod or Zune or whatever. Still, it is nice to see they upped the rate to 256kbs. Alas, still not lossless and this is where the iPod kills the Zune, as Zune demands lossy compression and does not provide a way to store/play lossless music. Amazing today in recorded music's history sound quality is widely going BACKWARDS instead of forwards. Last time that happened in mainstream audio was the 8-track tape.
