Default Tricky: trying to copy PPC databases from device *without* touchscreen (broken)

My PPC (x51v) touchscreen broke. I have an application (Cash Organizer) that does not automatically synchronize, but instead requires a manual backup to a file now and then (which is synchronized). This means that I don't have a backup of the information I entered in this application since the last time I told it to write a backup file. Its information is stored in the Databases directory. I can see a folder with this name in my host PC, but cannot copy them, because they are not really files.

My question is, is there a way of making a backup of these databases from the host PC, without using the touchscreen?

Installing new software, like Sbp Backup, doesn't seem like an option because I cannot click on the screen to authorize the installation (unless there is a way of doing it with the device's buttons).

Any help appreciated!

PS: Just for the record, Cash Organizer does have a sync option that has to be installed separately and that I didn't know about before.
