Default The Must Have Zune Accessory

http://cgi.ebay.ca/little-dot-2-Tube-Valve-Headphone-Amplifier-ipod-zune_W0QQitemZ270052968904QQihZ017QQcategoryZ3280QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

"The amplifier comes with 4 vacuum tubes. This amplifier uses directness heat up kathode, which can provide more than 3000-5000 working hours. You can feel the special taste from tube headphone amplifier which is different from other normal headphone amplifier."

Ah, what a shame that we missed out on the auction for this sweet accessory for our nice shiny new Zunes. Look at that styling! Can't you just imagine how nice that would look plugged into your brand new brown Zune? Thanks to Matt for pointing out this humorous Zune "accessory"! What is the strangest audio player accessory you've seen?

How about a toilet paper iPod holder so you can have tunes while you're in the crapper?

Um, but this isn't a funny accessory that's good for laughs only. The Little Dot series of headphone amps are quite well-regarded in the audiophile circles. In fact the Chinese have been creating some pretty good amps (independent operations, no less, not some cheap mass sweatshop effort either).

So now that you know, be prepared to deal with the rabid fans and audiophiles beating down on your door shortly. :P

I hear the iCarta iPod toilet paper holder (see post above) is held in high regard by bathroom audiophiles everywhere.

How about an entire airplane as an accessory? Apple has announced deals with Delta, Continental, and others to offer in-flight iPod integration for charging and viewing videos in the seat back display. Together with optional car integration in like 70% of 2007 model cars sold in the U.S. Apple looks to cover the travel integration angle. What's next - trains, buses, and boats? Then they just need to get major hotel chains to include docks in their rooms.

That's got to be one of the most odd items I've found people trying to pass off as an iPod or Zune accessory. No portable media playing device needs that. I would have something like that to compliment my turntable, not my Zune...

Aside from that, those little iPod 'sock' things are probably the strangest. No hole to see the screen through or manipulate the controls? C'mon!

And this article talks about hotels giving you a loaner iPod to use while you stay there:
