I have the slightly older version of the Archos 5, The Archos 5 IMT, and it is a really nice device as a media player. But that's all it really should be. It has some extras, but they seem like afterthoughts. That hardware is good, and the build quality is fantastic. The screen is wonderful too. I do suggest that the one avoid the IMT though, as the Internet Tablet version is much more flexible.
