Default Uploading Cheesecakes...

I'm trying to make this work. Sorry for the confusion:

http://www.ofoto.com/BrowsePhotos.js...d=702744680105

I just want to be able to share pictures online, but this is more confusing than I expected

The link points to a page that says "Your file in inaccessable". So what camera did you end up getting?

Picture developing sites like www.ofoto.com and www.snapfish.com do pretty well if all you're looking to do is allow people to view the photos and they make uploading really easy in my experience. If you're looking to share the physical file, these don't let you do that.

I must say. I was very disappointed when I read this thread. I thought someone had finally come up with a way to upload food to the Internet. Mmm... cheesecake...

Sorry, just couldn't resist. I'm sure I can't be alone.

Yeah, Ofoto and Shutterfly are good places to upload photos. Also, if you're really adventurous, I suggest you sign up for the $15 a year web hosting companies and install an Open Source Picture Gallery.

I developed my own gallery for my site, www.zmweb.com

Oh, and Digital Media Thoughts subscribers now get some free uploading, I believe. : )

Aggree with the above. I've got a domain through www.doteasy.com for $25 a year. Host pics there all the time I take with my digi so friends can download them.
