I came across this today on CTV.ca and thought some of you might be interested. "A University of Alberta research team has discovered an entirely new way of generating electricity by simply directing water at a solid surface. The power created is pollution-free and could one day power small devices such as Palm Pilots or calculators with water batteries, instead of using polluting conventional batteries." Read here for the full Story I was thinking this thing would be great to create power when no outlets are available. Imagine you pump up the pressure in either a sealed unit or a refillable one and over the course of and hour it recharges your Pocket PC or cell phone. What do you think?
