Default Convert DVDs to Zune Compatible Video

http://www.pqdvd.com/dvd-to-zune-converter.html

"PQ DVD to Zune Converter is a One-Click, All-In-One solution to convert DVD movies to Zune video. The software features fast DVD movie conversion with great video quality. Watch DVD movies, TVs, home and familiy videos on the go - a new lifestyle to experience."

The description pretty much says it all. PQ DVD has developed an application that is a one-stop-shop solution for quickly converting your DVDs to a Zune compatible video. You can download a trial version, or purchase the application for $29.95. If you've tried this app, let us know how it worked!

This app works great. I was using it for my Portable Media Center and loved it. And it works perfectly for the Zune, too.

Here's the bonus -- you can rip DVDs for larger screen size than the PMC/Zune. "Why would I want to do this?" you may ask.

Well, I have them saved in my Shared Videos location on my MCE PC and when I fire up the Xbox 360, I now have all those movies listed and viewable in my living room. Are they HD? No. But, they really really look good. They passed the wife approval test when I turned on Nanny McPhee for the kids and they all thought we were watching the DVD.

This app is a must for any portable video wanting person and if you happen to have Netflix, well, more power to you. Not that I condone that.

P.S. I've tried Mayakama's (spelling?) app for this purpose and really prefer PQ DVD. You can try both with a trial and I think you'll find the UI on PQ DVD to be much better and more functional.

In the dark days of using Windows, I used to use PQ for my conversion of videos to the iPod. I've never seen such a powerful, effective, and easy-to-use program. And, I don't know why, but for some reason it's insanely fast (comparatively).

I highly recommend it to the Zoonies out there. It's well worth the artificially steep pricetag. The one caveat is that even though you can convert DivX and other formats, you can't do batch conversions. It's a minor thing in the grand scheme of things for the amount of control you have overall.

Default DVD software

It works GREAT and is very easy to use. Even a nongeek like me can take movies with anywhere I go. Now if they can get some games on the Zune we'll be good to go!!

PQ is good, but I use 'Wondershare DVD to Zune Ripper', it's as easy to use as PQ. compare with PQ, it provides 24*7 hours online technical support, really helpful
Here is this software's official web.

That program is way overpriced. PQ does what it does for DVDs as well as converting video files, which Zune to DVD doesn't do (Of course, after taking $39.99 for one program, they have no problem taking yet another $29.99 for that privilege).

Basically $68 to do what PQ does for $34? No brainer.
