Default Fitness Phone Fights Fat and Bad Breath

http://www.textually.org/textually/archives/2007/10/017513.htm

"Reuters reports that NTT DoCoMo has come out with a "Fitness Phone" that "can measure your pulse or the amount of steps you've taken in a day, dispenses heath advice after you've punched in statistics such as gender, age and weight. "And you can also exhale into the phone and it will tell you whether its time to reach for the breath mints.""

Is it just me or are things getting a little silly on the fringes here? I don't think this is a WM Standard device in the works, at least I hope not. It might be a good add on for the iPhone however. If I ever see someone blowing into their phone I might conclude they have more to worry about than their breath.

It's interesting what they'll jam into a phone now-a-days, eh? Everyone thought a camera was silly at first, but it grow on people and now it's pretty much standard. While I don't want to see these things in my phone, I won't be surprised to see this in more phones in the future.
