Intersting how dismissive the author is about Windows tablets. The portion is even entitled Wrapping Up: Windows?!?. He talks abouthow Windows Phone 7 might have been a good direction to go, and how Windows 8 is coming and has promise. Then he adds an Oh, By The Way "Windows 7 tablets are actually outselling the RIM Playbook." That may not be saying much, but I don't think is too bad for a product few know exists, and neither MS or the makers are marketing. While Windows isn't tablet friendly across the OS, it is still usable with fingers or a stylus, and has one big advantage....it is Windows. That means it runs virtually everything my desktop runs if I need it to.
