Each has different advantages, Netflix having the upper hand when it comes to movies, and HuluPlus for the TV shows. For a total of less than 20 bucks per month for both it's a pretty good package if you watch enough TV to make it worthwhile. I still wish I could get rid of my Dish service, and it is getting closer and closer all the time.</p>

I'm still waiting for Netflix on my (non-jailbroken) iPhone. I pay $8.99 per month for 1 disk at a time and unlimited streaming.
I'd love HuluPlus tho as they have better (current) TV programming and their iPhone app works GREAT! The free Hulu works great and has alot of shows as well...tho more limited and no iPhone app.
Anyway...I'd love to whittle down my cable bill one day by getting rid of HBO and some premium channel packages.
Gotta weigh out what would be best for me...this article leaves me still confused about what my best option is.

Since HBO content is being tightly controlled and only available to current suscribers on mobile devices, why would you get rid of it ? If you only watch it for movies then drop it to save a little $$. Personally I have it for the exclusive HBO series like True Blood, Big Love, Real Time, etc. and the upcoming Boardwalk Empire. Plus HBO sporting events like Boxing. The forthcoming HBO Go iPad app will be a nice bonus for me

The only TV I watch consists of HBO series', Discovery, The Science Channel, NatGeo. Everything else is a rarity.
I just hate paying $170/month for cable and internet...and will do anything to reduce it.
