I haven't tended to think of Toshiba as a very top-notch laptop company overall, but this laptop sure looks interesting! It looks similar to my HP dv2, but hopefully without all of the problems the dv2 has...(which aren't many, but are irritating).

I've got this PC. I actually went out and bought it in an emergency when my primary PC went down, thinking I'd simply return the Toshiba in a week and eat the restocking fee. But, once I got to using it, I realized what a TRULY WONDERFUL machine it is and just HAD to keep it.

It is truly lightweight and its battery life is every bit as long as touted. The screen's great, the speed is fantastic and I can sit and use the keyboard all day long without fatigue.

I'm sending my daughter off to college this fall and if I didn't already have a PC to send with her, I'd have bought her one in a second. I cannot recommend this one enough.
