Why Wait for the White iPhone 4?

Same phone, different color, is the conventional wisdom, but, with such a long delay, will it be the same phone? Is the delay because of a real antenna fix? Is the delay due to the white version being a CDMA (Verizon) version? Manufacturing difficulties? Lots of opinions and guesswork, but until Apple provides either answers, or the white iPhone 4, speculation will continue to rule.</p>

It will be the same phone, Apple is not going to have to support two different phones nor is it going to leave the door open for a demand to recall the device if a fixed one becomes available. And Apple is not going to, even for a second, let the idea of an unintended subliminal racial message get out, e.g., white = good, black = defective? No freakin' way will it even be considered.
