<div class='os_post_top_link'><a href='http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20100630-710528.html' target='_blank'>http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO...630-710528.html</a><br /><br /></div><p><em>"A California appeals court upheld a $21 million refund that Verizon Wireless will have to pay to some of its customers as a result of a settlement of a class-action lawsuit over its early termination fees, according to the lawyer representing the plaintiffs."</em></p><p>It looks like Verizon will be paying out over $15 million dollars to 175,000 former customers in the state of California, or about $87.50 per person. The appeals aren't finalized but should be in 60 days or so and then the checks will start flowing.</p>
