I took the advice of one site and let it drain all the way down once and recharge fully before I used it again, and that seemed to fix my battery issues. Ah, the old "deep discharge" ("memory effect") battery trick, I'll try that maybe tonight. This has been known to fix problems in laptop batteries as well. And, after all, the iPhone is just as complicated as a laptop. I've restored as new, turned off push, set fetch of email to manual, and I kill idle processes regularly.Good thing that I ordered my iPhone4 this morning! Now it's hurry up and wait!
