How about you? Any problems pre-ordering your iPhone 4 today?</p>

Oh yes, loads of problems. Been trying both Apple and AT&T sites without luck.

I fooled around with it early this morning before I went to work. I had problems with the Apple site even returning any response to the AT&T upgrade info request but, when it finally did, it kept erroring out when I tried to put the phone in my cart. While I was having those problems, I kept going back to the AT&T site to see if they were finally offering the pre-order. As a result, I think I got on the AT&T site right around when they first posted the offer, because I sailed right through their order process and completed my pre-order. Sounds like the AT&T site was much less responsive later in the morning.

Based on what I've read on other sites, it seems like I'm one of relatively few people who were successful. After all of the hassle, I hope this thing is as mind-blowing as the press (and our buddy Steve) make it out to be...

It's the AT&T site. The Apple site needs to access the AT&T site to complete the transaction and they've been having problems since at least Saturday. I tried paying my UVerse Account online numerous times over the weekend and couldn't do that either. You'd think they would have tried to nail that one down a little better.

Took me a couple of hours with the same problems already mentioned on the Apple site, but finally got the order placed about 7:30 central time.

After more than 14 hours of trying, I finally got through to pre-order on the Apple site. Still waiting for a confirmation email though.

Forgot to add: 32GB black for home delivery

me too, finally got the Apple site to take my pre-order for pickup at Bridgeport, went with the 32GB version, I decided to go with Black ...... ;)

Started at 7am CST and . . finally got my order placed with Apple 2 hours ago. Confirmation email received :) Too bad I can't check order status :mad: (page just gives application error)

Got my confirmation email around 10 PM last night. Looks like I squeaked in for delivery on the 24th.:)
