Isn't this an interesting development: Pocketnow has an article (http://pocketnow.com/thought/will-video-kinect-work-with-windows-phone-7)today about how Windows Phone 7 may have a link with the newly revealed Video Kinect feature on xbox.

Well it sounds like the extremely awesome Video Kinect feature on Xbox might be compatible with Windows Live Messenger on Windows Phone 7. Video Kinect is a feature for Xbox 360 with the Kinect attachment that will allow video calls to be made between other Xbox Kinect users as well as Windows Live Messenger. The Kinect system even has face tracking so that it can point the camera at you no matter where you are in the room. We haven't heard anything at all about Windows Live Messenger's implementation on Windows Phone 7 yet, so there's certainly room for hope and speculation. Though Microsoft (http://pocketnow.com/thought/will-video-kinect-work-with-windows-phone-7#) did mention compatibility with Windows Phone 7 according to Gizmodo (http://gizmodo.com/5563100/video-kinect-lets-you-chat-with-xbox-live-and-windows-live-messenger). One potential problem might be that we haven't seen any leaked phone specs that include a front facing camera. Maybe we can at least see and hear other people who call us on Live Messenger instead? Hopefully Microsoft will be releasing more detailed information shortly about the scope of features of Windows Live Messenger on Windows Phone 7. This could be really nice!
