"neat" idea - but would be worried about adequate ventilation - at least if the back were also covered.

Actually removed the back cover cloth from our HT cabinet due to ventilation concerns - front is a smoked glass door, which at least stands off the cabinet SLIGHTLY, so a bit of air can get in, and the darker color makes it difficult to see the rear of the unit in any event.

Am now using the removed rear cover cloth to help control the light distribution of our "video bias light" arrangement - waste not, want not.... ;)
