Wish they would have left them up on the Apple site, but now you are directed to the "<a href="http://www.apple.com/why-mac/" target="_blank">Why You'll Love a Mac</a>" page shown above. It's well done of course, with nice, but very simple, rollover effects. I sure miss the ads though.</p>

I for one won't miss the ads - Apple can and should focus on what they do well to sell their products, not snipe at the "other guys".

I know why you won't miss the ads, you have them saved on your Windows machine don't you? ;)

The ads did what they were designed to do - make people who were considering the purchase of a Windows PC for personal use think about good reasons for buying a Mac instead. To say that the Mac ads unfairly sniped at PC manufacturers and Microsoft may be true, but it is only a part if what they did - they did also mention strengths of the Mac platform vs. PCs. Like many salesman may, these ads highlighted and exaggerated some weaknesses of competitor's products.

And I'd hate to think that they would do something like have an actress, pretending to be shopping for a new notebook, walk into a Microsoft Store, walk right out, and pretend that she had spent time there shopping for PCs. ;)
