We've used Amazon's VOD service to view 5 or 6 "HD" movies - streaming them to our Pan Blu-Ray player (& then to the attached tv, of course).

Viewing experience has been enjoyable, but with several "false starts," an odd frame-freeze or two during most shows, and with overall PQ more along the lines of a decent Upconverted SD DVD, as opposed to "true HD" quality.

OTOH, all the shows viewed to date have been "free" (via VOD Credits accumulated through purchases made during the past holiday season). :)

Netflix, of course, might offer a superior streaming format, and / or a larger buffer, if sent first to a computer - ??
