It explained the issue and warned that the lithium-ion battery pack in the router could swell and cut power. The battery cover is reportedly also difficult to remove and could damage the battery or the router if forced open."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1273147053.usr105634.jpg" /></em></p><p>Rogers is sending out envelopes to replace the batteries and covers, with an expected turnaround of 7 to 10 days, as well credit for time spent without the device. This is the HSPA version of the MiFi, so potential exists that it could affect other carriers. </p>
