At this point there aren't any announcements from manufactures leveraging these new found features, but in the press release Microsoft is certainly bolstering the broadcast TV and other media features in a set-top box."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/dht/auto/1272832860.usr10.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></em></p><p>There are a lot of TVs out there don't have a PC or some sort of extender hardware attached to them. And face it, the built in operating systems on a lot of set top boxes leave a lot to be desired. Embedding Windows 7 into a cable box or other type of inexpensive set-top devices might be just the ticket for the less technosavy members of the population.</p>
