Panasonic is updating the G1 to a G2, and introducing a G10...which is maybe an upgrade to the L10? I frankly find Panasonic's model numbering system baffling, and feel like they're trying to juggling too many models at once. At any rate, Photorumors has the specs on the G2 and G10, so take a peek and see what you think. Without doing a line by line comparison of specs, I'm not sure how they differ from each other actually...

Well, duh, one does motion images and one does motion pictures. Sheesh! Learn to read, Jason! ;)

Yeah, these do look mostly identical. But I read that Panasonic had stated that the specs were at least partially wrong for one or both of the cameras. That may explain it. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. Regardless, it's good to see this format continuing to advance. I'd like to see some better lens selection, though, before getting comfortable buying into it.

L10 is a DSLR.

L10 is a DSLR.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but since it's a DSLR and not a DILC, what lens system does it use?

UPDATE: Ahh, I see...four-thirds.
