Virgin wants to make their site as compatible as possible with the mobile user, specifically the iPhone, so customers can access their site as well as do mobile check-ins. How many other companies are going to make this switch? What are your thoughts?</p>

I read a story yesterday somewhere that many sites which do use Flash on their sites also have non-Flash sites specifically for iPhones. If they detect that you are using an iPhone, they direct Mobile Safari to that version, which is otherwise full-featured. Mobile devices which do not run flash are getting so much more common that I suspect that nearly any successful consumer-oriented business will follow.
