The first-of-its-kind personal TV service seamlessly integrates live television, on-demand movies and television shows, and web videos in an easily self-installed system that automatically records, recommends and organizes the favorite shows of each individual member of the family."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/wpt/auto/1266549121.usr486.jpg" style="border: 0;" /></p><p>Sezmi launched their new service today in LA.&nbsp; It seems like a nice deal if you don't care about sports at all.&nbsp; No ESPN or local sports channels is a drawback, but other than that it is an interesting service. There is even a $5 a month service if you want a really affordable package. It is nice to see some more competition in the content delivery business.&nbsp; If they can sign a few more big name networks (e.g. ESPN) they will have a very compelling offering here.</p>

ESPN is one of the most expensive channels. Adding it would almost certainly double that price (if both channels were added)

Sounded interesting enough to go out & skim through their website & some of the media links: results show an idea that may have some promise, but for now has as many Questions at it appears to provide answers.

No doubt some people will find Sezmi attractive, but in these days of multiple TV households and increasing demand for HD programming, it looks like they still have a number of significant hurdles to overcome before they can expect to be more than a niche player in the market....
