Check out Snapsort - a fast, easy-to-use way of comparing cameras specifications. It not only gives you the numbers, but tells you what they mean - for instance, when comparing the Panasonic GF-1 to the Panasonic DMC-ZS3 (not really a fair fight) it tells the user that a CMOS sensor tends to perform better than a CCD sensor. Slick! What's missing though from my perspective is the sensor size comparison and corresponding millions of pixels per square CM - that's just as important, if not more important, than megapixels. Still, it's worth checking out if you want to see how two cameras stack up.
