Chrome's lead over Safari isn't by much with 4.63 percent of the market compared to Safari's 4.46 percent. If, however, Chrome can continue to outpace Safari's growth, it won't take long for that gap to widen."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1262658544.usr105634.jpg" /></p><p>The info was from <a href="http://www.netapplications.com/" target="_blank">Net Applications</a>, and December 2009 is also the first month that Google has been available for Mac OS X. According to the survey this is only a rough estimate of the actual number of surfers, but even so, Chrome is on the fast track to really give Explorer a run for their money. What browser do you use? I'm still using Safari and am happy with it once I fixed the annoying Adobe Flash problem that was causing me to lock up frequently.&nbsp;</p>

I still use Safari on the Mac - every time that I try to use Firefox for a while, I keep going back to Safari, for its better history and bookmark search, as well as much better Evernote integration. On Windows, I have switch to Chrome from Firefox, now that Chrome beta supports some extensions, like xmarks. I am looking forward to a more mature version of Chrome on the Mac; I think that Google's snadboxing and separate process for each tab is a great way to run a browser.

I've tried them all and still come back to Safari all the time. I'm not a tabs type of guy - It's very seldom that I have more than 2 and a lot of the "functionality" of the other browsers is meaningless to me. Safari does the job and does it well, at least for my usage.

I started using Chrome the day it came out for OSX (about a month ago). Despite its lack of a few features, it's so fast that I switched to using it exclusively (with the exception of Netflix streaming, which doesn't yet support it).

I actually installed the latest development release for OSX yesterday, and have been using it pretty much since then. The extensions that I want to use are working fine, and I can definitely see myself using Chrome full-time when it's released.
