For Pocket PC/Windows Phone news Windows Phone (http://windowsphonethoughts.com/#) Thoughts has been my choice for nearly 8 years.

Does that count as two entries? ;)

I prefer Google News, and yes, I know that's not a single news source, but that's exactly why I like it. I'm not limited to any one news source-- and in the US, most news outlets use the Associated Press as a source, so almost all the news you get from US sources is the same. Google News lets me see other perspectives on the same stories.

I guess Engadget is my favorite. It's great that Windows Phone Thoughts still writes about Windows Mobile Standard, unlike other sites almost abandoned it because "it's missing touchscreen".
I tried both GoNews on WM Standard and GoNews Touch on WM Professional but I must say the better experience I got was with WM Standard. Only feature I miss is marking single article as unread.

I don't use Google News so out of curiosity can you tell me where they get their news from if AP isn't used? I'd like to add some other sources to my RSS feeds.

I'm British and hence there is only one correct answer to that question... the BBC for which my license fee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_licence#United_Kingdom) (read TV tax!) pays for.

Oh boy, I haven't been into pda based news since the AvantGo days, probably more than half a decade ago. Then, major newspapers all had their channel. Of course it was not as up to date as it can be now. I don't even remember which channels I subscribed to.

I usually browse my webmail portal (on my PC) that does news aggregation.

I'll try GoNews 1.3 and see what resources they have. I suppose it's possible to add our own, I live in a tiny (but mighty ) country and I don't know if GoNews has related channels.

Eager to see that.

I prefer The Guardian and love the new iPhone app for it. Would love to see the same app on Windows Mobile.
