My personal favorite, the Zune HD, came in 4th place because of its locked in ecosystem. Leading the pack was the Sansa Clip+ with its cheap price and newly added MicroSD card slot. Are there any players that you think should have been in there? What's your top 5 list of MP3 Players? Let us know in the comments.</p>

Okay, so admittedly, I still have my trusty old 30gb iPod since I see no reason to replace it because it still works. But I do have the Sansa Clip even though I think it's limited. I prefer to have video on the player too. But the clip is perfect for those dreaded workouts. For something small in size and video, I just purchased the Sansa Fuze. But beware, cases are limited in style and the back clips are awful.

IMHO, the Clip is a better sounding MP3 player than my Zunes, (got two for my grandkids) plus it has EQ...sorely missing from the Zune and it records. It is about the sound isn't it?

I checked out the Sony...very nice.

Cowans have always had great sound and codecs. My wife's Cowan d2 is no exception.

I would swap positions for the Samsung with the Sony. Otherwise I agree with his choices. Pity, none of these has any real capacity. So...I'll be using my Zune 120 until something bigger and better comes along.

I'd like either a Zune 8 or, since I'm on a college student budget, a Sansa Clip+. It looks like a very straightforward, clean, and simple player.
