Each cell company has committed to purchasing a minimum of 80,000 iPhones each but the analysts expect that number to increase. According to the article, the cell phone <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_phone_penetration_rate" target="_blank">penetration rates</a> in Israel is one of the highest in the world at 125%, with about 80,000 citizens in Israel already owning unlocked iPhones according to estimates.</p>
