There's a Zune HD firmware update that has just been released - it will take your Zune HD from 4.1 to 4.3...I don't know why they skipped 4.2, nor do I know what this firmware update adds or fixes. There's no information about this firmware update at Zune Insider. My Zune HD didn't automatically detect the new firmware update - I had to go into Settings > Device > Player Update in order to get it. It installed without a hitch, but I don't know what's been changed. If anyone has any information, please share!

While I don't own one yet (waiting for Christmas), did it maybe add Squirting or Social tweaks? Stuff that might now be on the surface of the player, or very apparent? Maybe a browser change or just all under the hood.
My only two complaints: No Squirting and not being able to reply to messages on the device.

The update actually came out yesterday. From what I've read it offers support and better performance for apps and games that will be coming out. It also improves the keyboard so that it fills up the entire screen in landscape mode. There is a predictive text feature so that as you are typing, suggestions come up on the top of the keyboard. It fixes the playcount problem. There are a few new options in the settings menu. There are some other little things i probably havent mentioned, but overall its a pretty cool update that should lead to other games and apps updates soon!

I can't believe it still takes 12 seconds to launch the freakin' calculator! The Zune team should be so embarrassed about that; I was sure they'd fix it ASAP. :(

I can't believe the Weather app only provides a single page for the week for a location. No details on a day. I get more than that on my watch. If the Apps don't start flowing and getting decent (something other than a handful of games) I'll start wondering what the point was.
