If you've been living on a desert island for the last couple of months, the HD2 is HTC's latest uber-phone sporting a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3" capacitive display, WM6.5, an ultra-slim profile, HTC's latest UI overlay (HTC Sense), and just about everything else under the sun. The big deal about this confirmation is that the models currently shipping in Europe and Asia don't support US 3G bands, which meant the US market would have been left out otherwise. No clues yet on which carrier will take this up, but the HD2 should be available by Spring 2010.</p>

So basically when HTC will introduce the "HD3" in Europe we will receive the HD2. ....
Not to mention WM7 that could begin to appear on the horizon.

Does anyone know if a stylus can be used with this device? I draw webcomics on PPCs and have my eye on this one.

Spring 2010!? That likely means beginning of summer 2010, due to delays and carrier testing, perhaps. That's not going to cut it. Also, I'm sure, Apple will make an announcement before then that will cause many to wait on the Apple device in the US.

Perhaps the screen size will hold up, spec wise, by the time it launches here.

Oh well. It's a wonder why I don't own an HTC device; they're are always too late (spec wise) to arrive in the US.
