That $500 price range is what these tablets should have been priced at when they first made an appearance as UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC's) about 4 years ago. THis is more than half the price of the Samsung Q's and Tablet Kiosks that were released then.

I think at this price range, even with some polishing needed, they have a better chance to succeed than they did just a few years ago.

I know I'm considering one.
