I've reviewed a lot of Skooba Design (formerly RoadWired) products over the years, and their latest line of messenger-style bags look great. The Sidekick bag is priced in the realm of your typical found-at-Best-Buy laptop bags ($79.95 USD, on sale right now for $39.95), but I'm willing to bet it's much better than anything you'd find at retail. I haven't looked at one of these yet, so I can't say for sure, but my previous experience with Skooba Design bags tells me I'm probably right. I keep trying other bags, but always go back to my Skooba bags.

Want to win? All you have to do is tell me what you'd like to carry in the bag. Take a look at the photos on the Skooba product page, check out all the pockets and pouches, and post a message telling me what gadgets and gear you'd put into this bag. I'll randomly select two people and each will win one of these bags.

This contest is open to anyone in the USA or Canada (sorry rest of world, shipping is too expensive on a large product like this). There's one post per person allowed, and the contest will stay open for one week, closing down on Wednesday the 11th of November at 3pm GMT -7.

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone for entering! The two winners, randomly chosen, are Dyvim and NeilE. Yes, the same NeilE that won the last contest...but this is what happens when there are so few entries! We've got another Skooba Design contest coming up later this month, so watch for that.

I think this would be good for my wife's Mac notebook. She doesn't have a good bag to carry it in, so this would be great.
Also, she'd have a mouse with her, and the power cable, plus the charger for her phone.
I'd add in my Dell Axim, and the charging cable for that, and my phone.

That's a lot of pocket!

I'd keep my netbook in it, along with emergency contacts and contact lens solution. Oh, and since I'm in Seattle, an umbrella-ella-ella to keep me dry when it rains.

Items for my bag:

HP Compaq 6710b laptop and power cables
WD Passport Essential 500 gig portable HD
MS Laptop mouse
Compact Flash card adapter
Apple 30 gig iPod and usb cables for it
Assorted latest issues of Marvel and DC comics for light reading
a couple of USB thumb drives for whatever may come up

This bag would definitely be much more useful easier to carry than the current Wenger backpack I'm using as a laptop carry-all.

I would like to carry around a new unibody MacBook Pro with 500 Gb of storage and 4 Gb of RAM and it's accessories. However, I'll have to stick with carrying around my 3 year old Intel Core Duo.

Depending upon destination, the main pocket would carry either my old Dell notebook OR a Dell Mini (on end) along with a paperback Bible. (Per description, should fit with 1" to spare....)

With either, add a trackball, power cord & charger, perhaps a Cat 5 cable (some hotels don't do wireless in all rooms yet...), an Axim X30 with extra battery, paper, pens, & a nice supply of wintergreen mints :), and you are nicely set up.

I carry my life in my messenger bag and could use a new one.

Everything from pens and paper to my netbook to whatever book(s) I am reading now to materials for whatever Sunday School class I am teaching next. Flashlight, phone, iPod, pain killers, spare change, mints, gum, Leatherman, USB keys. You name it, it's in there.

I love Skooba products!

I was able to get my son an HP laptop for Christmas last year (Black Friday special). while he currently drops it in his backpack, I would be alot happier having it in something that would protect it!

Add to that his cellphone, iPod, wireless stereo headphones and all all the various chargers, USB cables and USB keys and I'm sure he can fill up those pockets nicely!
