Hi all!

We've just released a new update for SafeWallet for iPhone to version 1.2.2, so I wanted to post a quick update about this new version features! :)

Similar to previous updates, this update is also free for all of our registered users and I hope you will enjoy the new features we've been working on with this new update!

Please be sure to post back with any thoughts and new features you would like to see included with our upcoming SafeWallet updates! :) Included here below is a list of the new features that are available with this new version release:


1. Search! – Probably the main new feature with this new version is the new Search panel! When opening any of your wallets you will now find a new Search panel. Using the new search panel you can quickly find any card you wish within the currently opened wallet. Search is done as-you-type, which means that while you type your search criteria string, the list below automatically updates with the remaining cards that match your searching string - this design makes it the fastest way possible to start a new search and locate cards you’ve been looking for.

The searching keyboard is opened automatically each time you enter the searching panel, the resulted cards are automatically showing without any need to press any search button – all designed to make it the fastest way to locate your cards as possible!

The search criteria is searched through all card titles and card values, which means you can also locate cards based on a specific field value and not only on the field titles. This is working in a similar way to the way the search is working with the SafeWallet PC Companion side.


2. Automatically Opens Last Used Wallet – Up until now, when launching SafeWallet you were asked to choose which wallet you would like to open each time that SafeWallet is launched. In 95% of the cases (if not more..) the user is most likely to open the same wallet that he is using on a regular basis.

With this new version SafeWallet will now automatically open the last used wallet, so when launching SafeWallet, it will automatically ask you for the password of the last opened wallet – another step implemented to speed up the access time it takes to open wallets with SafeWallet! All designed to shorten the time it takes the user until he reaches his wallet password this way!

If you would like to open a different wallet since the last used wallet, this can still be done easily – simply cancel the password entry dialog for the last used wallet and you will be taken back to the list of wallets to choose which wallet you wish to open instead. However, since users open the same previous wallet in about 95% of the cases (if not even more :) ), opening the last used wallet automatically is one of this small changes that make the iPhone client much easier and faster to use!

Like the search feature, this is another feature that also exists on the SafeWallet PC Companion and we’re pleased to have it included also with the iPhone client now!


3. Bug Fix: Syncing with 64bit PCs – Users that have been using SafeWallet on their iPhone along with SafeWallet PC Companion on 64bit PCs have experienced a bug that caused trouble with SafeWallet syncing. We’ve released a patch version for our PC Companion that was available for download here at our forums a few weeks ago, but with this new version we’ve also included the official fix for this which also required a few changes on the iPhone client.

With this new version, the SafeWallet for iPhone client will display a special “Sync Key” that will be asked by SafeWallet PC Companion during syncing when used on 64bit machines. This fix now allows users who are using a 64-bit machines to sync their wallets between the iPhone and SafeWallet for PC easily!

Please notice that we’ve also released a new update for SafeWallet PC Companion that needs to be downloaded and installed too for this new fix to work properly :) The SafeWallet PC Companion update is of course also a free update for all of our previous registered users – but you’ll need to install this update to enjoy this new fix from the PC Companion side too.
