So even though we do hear a lot of problems with AT&T coverage-wise (excluding my experience which has been fine), that figure is a bit surprising. The iPhone must just be amazing enough to trump the problems, or rather perceived problems with AT&T. Well I think so but I've been accused of being a fan boy so make your own decision.

In other news they also posted almost a 34% increase in sales of services such as Internet access, messaging, etc, making data sales approximately 30% of the wireless revenue for AT&T. However profit was down $3.2 billion USD from $3.23 billion USD same time last year. Boggles the mind how these numbers are thrown around doesn't it?
