Any product that was discontinued more than five but less than seven years is considered vintage, while any product discontinued over seven years is considered obsolete. Apple has a <a href="http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1752" target="_blank">list</a> on their site as well. Interesting to note that they can consider products vintage and not provide support, except if it was purchased in California and it falls under a certain statute. No other state has that qualifier.</p>
