The most prominent change since iTunes 9's release can be seen in the behavior of the green maximize button. In iTunes 9, the maximize button no longer switched iTunes into miniplayer mode and required users to option-click the button instead. This latest update reverts the button to its previous behavior."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1253685096.usr105634.jpg" /></p><p>I never liked that so I for one am glad they are switching back. Apparently there were also some issues browsing the iTunes store and performance issues with the program itself. You can find more about it at the <a href="http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/" target="_blank">Apple site</a> or just head to software update to get the party started.</p>

I actually liked it better when the maximize button did not go to the dumb mini player. However, I've been having a problem with podcast syncing. The podcasts were syncing fine, but an smart playlists that included podcasts (I had one that included all of my unlistened podcasts sorted by release date) came to the iPod as blank playlists (though, again, the podcasts were actually on the device.) Apparently, this fixes that problem.
