This translated into an increase in sales of 2.5%, or in US dollars that meant $3 billion coming through the doors. The <a href="http://www.apple.com/retail/fifthavenue/gallery/" target="_blank">Fifth Avenue</a>&nbsp;store alone generated $35,000.00 USD per square foot, which bested all the other stores along Fifth Avenue. One thing seems to be certain, Apple knows how to do retail.&nbsp;</p>
