Perhaps as a dig at Apple's "Designed by Apple in California," and also likely a reference to Seattle's famed underground music scene, the sentence pays tribute to Microsoft's Washington state roots. What does it mean that the words have moved from the back of the device to the side in the latest hardware update? Probably nothing, but it does make the text slightly more noticeable on its own.</p>
