"Zune 4.0 software won't play nice with HDTV Media Center recordings."


More of the same...The Zune still cannot play many video files that will play in WMC. WTF? Sure glad I have a Cowan D2...it can play anything that WMC can and more.

Yeah...I agree with you. Its inexcusable that some MS products will play things that others can't.

Just bought my first Zune. Anyone know if the WMC files will play on this one? I bought this one instead of waiting for the HD as I wanted the 120GB storage, FM radio and games for train commuting. Watching my SD-recorded shows from the MCX would be an added bonus.

Not if they have DRM (copy protection)...otherwise should be ok.
