This video really shows off how fast and fluid the user interface on the Zune is. Very nice. The zoom animation between 1:52 and 1:55 is a little nasty, though.

Indeed very nice. Why, again, is WM not using this platform? ;)

I'm not convinced the twist UI maps so intuitively to touch, but I guess time will tell.

True. I expect though that the Zune team will follow the same pattern as previous devices - when you dock the device for the first time, it will download a new ROM image...and that means the Zune team can keep improving performance up until the Zune is officially launched. Pretty slick!
