What I didn't share (not because I didn't want to) were the photos I took of the Zune HD browser in action. The following photo gallery includes four shots of the Zune HD browser doing its thing. The </em><a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/2300-12519_7-10001355.html"><em>first shot</em></a><em> shows the browser in portrait mode, the </em><a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/2300-12519_7-10001355-2.html"><em>second shot</em></a><em> shows how bookmarking is handled, the </em><a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/2300-12519_7-10001355-3.html"><em>third shot</em></a><em> shows Facebook in landscape view, and the </em><a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/2300-12519_7-10001355-4.html"><em>final shot</em></a><em> demonstrates the keyboard in landscape mode."</em></p><p><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/zt/auto/1250011005.usr495.jpg" style="border: 1px solid #d2d2bb;" /></p><p>CNet's Donald Bell got some hands-on time with the device last week and was impressed by the quality of the music and (surprisingly) browser experiences. Microsoft's NDA prevented him from sharing pictures of some of the more interesting parts of the device, but apparently one of those restrictions has lifted. There are some cool shots of the browser doing its thing, but nothing particularly mind-blowing (they're pictures, after all...).&nbsp;</p><p>One cool thing is the emphasis on usability while typing on the on-screen keyboard. The selected key appears to be able to "grow" around your finger (see above), like a cross between the iPhone's keyboard loupe and Palm's WebOS wave application launcher. Bonus shot <a href="http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/patterson__15/patterson-409585220-1249942683.jpg?ymcCjtBDhw9qYC2O" target="_blank">here</a>. And of course, the default search engine is Bing. I really want to see how fast it runs and how the awesome power of Tegra helps out with some of the more processor-intensive operations. The Zune Press train keeps on rollin'!</p>

I'm happy for Donald Bell - it's nice to have someone getting hands-on time with the Zune HD and reporting what it can do, because it's sure not something any of the Zune MVPs have been able to do. :rolleyes:

I'd rather see the reviews and impressions done properly, and I can wait for that :cool:

Any idea why the Bing logo would show up here (http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/patterson__15/patterson-861044679-1249942682.jpg?ymaCjtBDbxC5YgZd) and here (http://a323.yahoofs.com/ymg/patterson__15/patterson-68032349-1249942681.jpg?ymaCjtBDuYBw40su)? Looks kinda like some app icon...but could it just be a Favorite in the browser or someone's Social display?

@Jason: Haha...

Yeah looks like a bookmark or history. Seeing as they put Bing for default search engine I wouldn't be surprised (or it could just be a photo from the guy's picture collection... I know I have a bunch of Zune pictures / logos that sync over from my pictures folder).

Also, I just saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_WPdg6zUeE and my jaw hit the floor.

Yeah, that video is amazing! I'm very impressed.

He didn't spend much time on it, but I loved the related artist bit. You be listening to an artist you like, tap "Related" and see a list of related artists and stream their music to your device. (assuming WiFi).

I love it!

Can't wait! I've already got my $300 saved up!
