They plan on getting their revenue stream from advertisers so unlike the iPhone app store, Bodega won't take a cut from the sales for developers that place their software here. The app will feature reviews of the applications, best selling apps, automatically check for updates for apps you have purchased and keep all your registration keys handy in the Bodega application. I would think the established developers would continue to use their own websites for distribution but this might be a pretty good way for new developers to get their products out there. What are your thoughts?&nbsp;</p>

Downloaded last night. Definitely in it's beginning stages and needs more apps and features but it's pretty cool.

I love http://osx.iusethis.com in conjunction with their program AppFresh for browsing apps and using the latter to update apps.

One negative of Bodega is it scans your mac for apps so you can see what you have installed....but only of they carry that app....so you never have a complete list.

A few more features like UPDATE ALL or a BETTER BROWSING function would be nice....but it's a cool start.

Would be nice if there was a standard app that all developers jumpped on. Apple would be the best to accomplish this thru iTunes I guess. But I'm sure now without taking a chunk out of developer profits.
