I've just bought an HTC Touch Pro 2 to replace my ageing iPAQ 2210/2215. So far two of my major programs don't work. SPB Pocket Plus 3.1.1 won't install, and Pocket Music 3.1 installed but won't start. I've emailed both companies but meanwhile does anyone here have any thoughts please?

Have you checked the SPB website to see whether ver 3.x of Pocket Plus is SUPPOSED to be compatible with the OS on your new Touch Pro?
Think Pocket Plus is up v4 now - always a chance you will have to upgrade.
Have a plain ol' Touch Pro, and although did initially try to carry-over v3.1.1 from my Axim, it did not work all that well & have not tried to reload Pocket Plus since updating the ROM.
Assuming the Touch Pro 2 still uses some version of HTC's TouchFlo interface, you might have to either disable TouchFlo or try one of the "SecondToday" apps.
Good Luck!

Thanks, much appreciate the advice.
You're right, I'm probably being over-optimistic here. Such a large number of programs bought for iPAQ 2210/15 (on WM 2003) over the years that I'd hoped to capitalise on my investment.
I now reckon I'll update several of my major programs. Trialing the latest Pocket Music. About to download Pocket Plus and Pocket Breeze to do the same. Any opinions on these, or recommended alternatives would be welcomed please.
My most important app is Memory-Map, for use with GPS in recording walks (Pocket Navigator comes as part of the desktop bundle). I've been using the latest version happily under WM 2003, apart from the increasing unreliability of the ageing 2210/15 itself. So I'm disappointed in several flaws under WM 6.1 on my HTC Touch Pro 2. The main one is that I can no longer zoom into the map to the final level. (For any MM user ending up here, specifically I can get only the '0.5 Mile' scale displayed, not the '0.2 Mile'. Not life-threatening, but that fine detail has frequently proved helpful to decide which side of a fence I should be on.)
And I find my existing TomeRaider won't read the latest files available (tr3 extension) and when displaying the old files (tr) the font is now far too large.
Do you think those two examples are down to my HTC having a 'WVGA' screen, or is it a WM issue?
