My ancient iPAQ 2210/2215 is long overdue for replacement. Frankly I'd love an iPhone (despite my minimal phone usage). But sadly it's ruled out because a crucial requirement is that the OS must be 'WM 2003 or later'. This is in turn because I must be able to run Memory Map on it, and that's the OS requirement.
I've just been looking at a product that was recommended to me, the HTC Magic. But at
HTC - Products - HTC Magic - Specification (http://www.htc.com/www/product/magic/specification.html)
I see that its OS is Android. Does that qualify, or is it a complete departure from the Windows Mobile range?
(Memory Map UK Tech Support didn't know.)
Edit: I've since established that it is quite incompatible with WM.
