I, being the budget techie I am, picked up my first HDTV today: a 28 inch, 1080i, CRT for $125 delivered! It has Component, Composite, and S-Video connectors.
I had hoped to use it with my Xbox 360 and a simple HTPC, which consists of a small formfactor computer with an integrated VGA only graphics card and two PCI slots. Fancy huh?
I popped my old GeForce 4 MX card in there, grabbed an $8 S-Video cable from Radiosuck, plugged it in and...
The picture is pretty much horrible. It displays 1024x768 but It's horribly blurry. I've seen far better results with S-video. My question is, what's an effective and cheap way of getting video on my "new" TV?
