Although the free app will officially be announced at that time, availability is totally dependent on the whims of the App Store."</em></p><p><em><img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/resizer/thumbs/size/600/at/auto/1245215542.usr105634.jpg" /></em></p><p>I really like TweetDeck for my MBP, so am anxious to give this one a try, especially since it is free in the <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=318518757&mt=8" target="_blank">app store</a> and available now (as of 10:00 PM PDT). The iPhone version is supposed to have similar features to the desktop version, like the groups feature that is a favorite of mine anyway. The iPhone version will also sync with the desktop version as well as the ability to refresh the screen by shaking and support for multiple accounts.</p>
