The RedEye is a small IR transmitter box featuring Wi-Fi and a built-in Dock for charging an iPhone, iPhone 3G, or iPod touch.

"

Interesting concept, making your iPhone like one of the Harmony Universal Remotes, except with more hardware required. Not all that much more hardware, just an infra-red device that communicates to your iphone/ipod touch via WiFi, then transmits an infra-red signal to your hardware in your entertainment center. This is a beta program, so they are waiting on approval for their app in the iTunes store, but they have outlined an ad-hoc method for getting the app on your iPhone/iPod Touch in the meantime. During the beta period, the price for the system is $119.00 USD. After the beta period ends in the fall, they will bump the price up to $149.00 USD.
